What organizations are behind “The People’s Holiday Fundraiser”?

The People’s Holiday Fundraiser is a collective effort spearheaded by individuals with strong ties to grassroots communities. Leaders of this initiative leverage personal connections and newly formed partnerships with organizations nationwide to find and impact families.

What does #LoveNotAid mean?

We are committed to doing this work not out of charity but out of the love that we have for our people and communities. Aid separates us, while love acknowledges that we are all connected.

How will funds be distributed to families?

The organizers of the People’s Holiday Fundraiser have connected with various organizations to identify and distribute funds through direct financial assistance. We believe that direct cash transfers are the best way to support families and are excited to connect with even more people this holiday season. 

I can’t financially support the fundraiser at the moment, but how else can I help?

The People’s Holiday Fundraiser is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN: 99-1410389). All donations to the fundraiser are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
